Design and implement education programs for underserved communities, working with local schools and educators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement education programs for underserved communities
  • Train and support local teachers and education staff
  • Develop curriculum materials adapted to local contexts
  • Monitor program implementation and evaluate outcomes
  • Build relationships with schools, community leaders, and education officials
  • Prepare reports for donors and organizational leadership
  • Identify opportunities for program improvement and expansion
  • Collaborate with other program teams for integrated approaches

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, International Development, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in education program implementation
  • Experience working in Central America, preferably Guatemala
  • Knowledge of best practices in education for development
  • Strong training and facilitation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environments
